The Old Man is really a pixie that was exiled from his group and became a rogue member of society. He now spends nearly all of his time in the form of an Old, sickly man. He is one of the most powerful assassin's in all of Therra, next to a few others and any Dark Templar. He kills people for a plethora of reasons. Sometimes he kills ruthlessly for the sheer economic benefit, but other times he kills those who are evil. He is famous for his ingenious traps and prisons that he locks people into, letting them know their sins and giving them an extremely slim chance of survival. However, some people manage to escape. His ideologies are twisted and there are many paradoxes in his thinking. He is known as an extremely intellectual man, always seeming to know something about his target. He appears helpless in situations but he always has a firm resolve, always tries to keep the peace in his groups. Until he is ready to slay his 'allies'. The Old Man is still at large today.
The Sin One Incident
The Old Man spent months designing a prison floating out at sea with only 1 way to get out. His jail and design were flawless, only allowing the smartest man to survive. He began by having the people wake up, chained to walls in a dimly lit room. A wizard saw his spellbooks buring away. The Old Man was watching, waiting. He had a moral lesson to teach. After 45 min of Hysteria and daring Intellect displayed by Celer Mortis, a few of the prisoners were dead. Traps lay about the room with warnings, as well as hidden messages and weapons. Eventually, the wizard was able to recall a spell of opening to unlock the door because The Old Man forgot to leave an anti-magic field on. Outside the door was a small boat that was able to hold only one of the remaining members. Celer Mortis and Selnai took turns riding the boat, with the other swimming alongside. Wonk simply cast fly and left them in his dust. Out of the 6 members, 3 survived when the Old Man only intended one to.
