Niveus, "The Northern Light."

History

Enric Lorital, was once a slave to, The Northern Shadow of Gry.  A daily routine consisted of torture, treacherous work and immoral treatment, but this man stood strong.  After world traveling Enric realized Gry wasn't the best of choices for his journey's.  Enric Lorital managed to escape one of the most controlled of all cells. He defied laws of nature and leaped over common boundries to become a free man again.  Marked by Gry, he knew Dorthaulir was not the best choice for a refugee camp, so the Frozen Anvil, was the only play left to head towards.  Garzin and his band of refugees, settled town in the middle of the Frozen Anvil.  This town is now a safe haven for escaped slaves.  Gry is known as The Northern Shadow, but in the mind of all of Niveus's citizens, Shadows disappear with light, Niveus, The Northern Light.

 Laws and Customs

•  Everyone in Niveus must have roped weapons and fingers tied for casters.
•  When the bell in Maturo Tower rings, it singles for all travelers, adventurers and skilled combatants to untie weapons, fingers and aid the town of Niveus against oncoming attacks on the city.  This happens frequently, so many travelers have come a custom to this.
• After the threat has been exterminated, the "militia" must meet at the town hall and get their weapons roped again. 

Fact

• There is a 10x10 fire pit in the White Saber Inn.
• The town is shaped like a pentagon. There is only 5 exits.
• Niveus is attacked 2-3 times a week by frostfolk, Smilodins, and sometimes weirds.  Once every 5 years Niveus is attacked by a huge beast 
• Niveus's temperature ranges from -30 to -10 for 6 months, then the next 6 months ranges from -5 to 10
• Niveus's buildings are arranged as niveus is. Pentagon. There are 5 main streets, with many side streets between houses, or apartment inns. 40-50% on the Niveus Civilian Population is located in Apartment building for shared heating, money conservation and good living.
• Each apartment has a bed room with 2 beds, a small fireplace and 2 chairs and a table taking up 2 small rooms.
• Niveus has some of the best doctors in Therra.  Skilled, experienced doctors are vital for the survival of their fellow citizens.
• Niveus has many guilds, groups, and associations to help the civilian population in Niveus.  They have, snow shoveling guilds to clear roads for travels, caravans, and civilians.  There is a big influence on taverns.  The most popular tavern, "The White Saber Inn" has a 10x10 fire pit, entertainment and find alcohol. 
• There is also blacksmith guilds, leather working guilds, cobblers, etc.  All to improve living in Niveus. ''
• Because Niveus is a new city, not many people know of "The Northern Light," but word is spreading, and Niveus is recieving more  travels and adventurers by the day.
