Aramil Galanodel

                           Legendary Chracian Waywatcher

Wisdom. Intelligence. Temper. These three things explain Aramil Galanodel. An elf born in the southern region of Chrace, Aramil grew up in a small community of rangers. As a child he was always interested in his father’s markmanship with a bow, and soon learned the trade himself, as well as many others from his prestigious father. Aramil’s father was in charge of the waywatchers in his community, both a legendary tactician and defender of Chrace from various orc raids. When Aramil was only 27 years old, the council of Chrace called his father to prepare the elven defenses against an upcoming onslaught led by the orcish tribes to the south. His father willingly agreed to defend his nation, his people. After 3 years of planning, and after 12 years of the campaign, Aramil’s father was slain in battle by the hand of an orc battle lord and Aramil was devastated. He decided he would get vengeance upon both the orcs and their goblin counterparts. He joined the army of Chrace just a bit too late, for the campaign was over with the elves being victorious. At age 230 after being in the army of Chrace, Aramil decided to lead his own band of elven waywatchers and commandos into enemy lines. He spent weeks toiling away with the council to gain permission, and when it was finally granted they gave Aramil the gift of 2 arrows that were said to be a gift of Correlion to eradicate the orc plague with. He set out with his companions, intent on victory and revenge. Slaughtering small encampments along the way, Aramil and his band finally reached the orc stronghold that he believed his father’s murderer resided. He spent weeks analyzing the stronghold and planning out the attack. Then, in one swift move, his band descended upon the stronghold, slaughtering the weary orcs. After about 10 minutes of slaughter, Aramil finally met up with the orc he recognized – the one who killed his father. He drew one of the holy arrows from his quiver and called upon Correlion for the gift of accuracy, and he loosed his bow. The arrow ripped right through the skull of the orc, and the task was complete. His band quickly and quietly killed as many orcs as they could before the orcs regrouped. After his mission was complete, Aramil was asked the question to lead future strike teams, as not a single waywatcher or commando was killed. He agreed, and he set out on numerous campaigns against the orcs until about the age of 532, when he retired. Now, at 535, Aramil seeks the simple pleasures of life, and helps people when in need; But through all he’s been through, Aramil has gained much wisdom and plans everything out. Avoiding conflict if possible, Aramil enjoys traveling, exploring, and giving a helping hand.
